Bainbridge Island Real Estate Market Update | January 2019

The housing inventory is still limited. At the end of December, the number of homes for sale was 45+/and today there are 43+/-. Last year at this time there were 40+/- homes for sale. In the month of January this year there were 15 homes that went under contract (17 in December) and 19 closed sales (25 in December) that sold at a median sales price of $799,000 and an average market time of 81 days. This compares to January 2018; where there were 23 homes that went under contract and 22 closed sales that sold at a median sales price of $864,000 and an average market time of 69 days. There were 17 new listings in the month of January, 8 of which are under contract/sold.
